We have a new walker, Julia decided she is ready to join the upright girls. She is progressing quick. Sunday she started standing from a seated position then taking steps completely on her own. Today she is up to eating, drinking a bottle, and carrying a blanket (though not all at one time) while walking. She is a little on the slow side (compared to her sisters anyway) so sometimes she will still crawl to get somewhere super quick. It is quite the change to see her walking so much, it means she really is getting older. I think it's adorable when she is just in a onesie or diaper walking around with cute chubby legs and a round belly. She was only in the 40th percentile for weight at 12 months but you wouldn't guess by checking out her belly. She is so cute.
Molly has figured out how to climb out of her crib. Last night she made two outings after she was put to bed, today's nap had one, and tonight she never got out. We are going to have to make the crib side down or toddler bed decision or keep the status quo. Seems early but then again, Cassidy was late in this department.
Cassidy is such a little girl. I look at her and see this girl who isn't a baby or toddler anymore. She talks so well, is getting so tall and is picking up thongs that are a little scary. She has noticed the off-the-shoulders dresses and shirts that Disney characters wear and likes to imitate them. Already? Do we really have to address keeping our shirts/straps/sleeves on at 3 1/2 years old? She is a great help and knows where everything is so is capable of doing a lot.
