Annabelle is the same way. We used to make her go to bed hungry if she refused to eat dinner, and it took three times before I connected the dots that is was making her physically ill (and magically better by noon). I get very ill from not eating, too; I can't even fast. We started giving Annabelle a PB sandwich if she utterly refused to eat, but still she couldn't qualify for treats since she didn't eat what the family was eating. Sometimes, if we know it's something she likes, we give her the choice of time-out or eating, reminding her that her body has to have food or she will throw up. It seems to work well for her.
